Do you feel alive and lit-up when immersed in the creative process? Is it inspiring to capture ideas and emotions on paper (computer or smartphone)? Do you get off on merging imagined reality with physical reality?

If so, consider yourself a kindred spirit. This is where the fun is in my world. Writing songs from the heart is the best high on the planet in my opinion. There’s nothing more exhilarating than capturing an idea from the ethereal mist, so to speak, and running with it until a song has been created.

The technique I’ve designed could be viewed as unorthodox. Graduates with a music degree may cringe at my approach. There’s no shortage of correct techniques out there, but freestyle is what works best for me. In the end, that’s what matters most.
